About the Highland Foot & Ankle Clinic
The Highland Foot & Ankle Clinic has enjoyed serving the Highland Park Neighborhood for the last fifteen years. We look forward to continuing to serve the community by providing compassionate patient care in conjunction with advanced podiatric medicine.
OUR PHYSICIAN
Dr. Olson obtained degrees in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He then obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Olson has extensive training and experience in all aspects of foot and ankle care including both conservative management of patients of all ages and surgical treatments of a wide variety of foot and ankle maladies.During his 3 year residency at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Dr. Olson performed over 1,500 foot and ankle procedures. These included reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Achilles tendon repairs, diabetic limb salvage and amputations, as well as elective foot and ankle surgery. He has received specialty training in arthroscopy, plastic surgery, and external fixation.
Dr. Olson is affiliated with the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. He has performed numerous lectures on a variety of foot and ankle related topics. He is a very personable, caring podiatric physician with excellent patient rapport and he will provide you with skilled and gentle foot care.
